This book takes you on a roller coaster ride filled with twists and turns by the end leaving you emotionally drained. Most definitely a mind f!@&. Finding a book by an author you've never read before is always hit or miss and you're left either disappointed or excited to add a new favorite to your list. This was definitely a hit. A great book makes me feel all the ups and downs of the emotional spectrum, Shattered made its mark, and I will definitely be thinking about about this book for a long time. I could not put it down. Probably the most suspenseful story line I have read lately! Thank you, Hailey!
Arrived yesterday and finished reading in the wee hours of the morning. I could not put the book down because it was so captivating. Right from the start I was entrenched in the story. The storyline is relatable and the end... Wow I did not see it coming! Will read again, several times and recommend to everyone I know. I look forward to future work by the author.
It was the first fiction book that has held my attention to the very end in a long time. The ending was a total surprise and loved it. Keep you thinking the entire way through. New Author but will add to my follow list for sure. Very much worth the read, you will be surprised at the exceptional ending. So surprised it was a first time Author
I read it in one sitting,I could not put it down ,really enjoyed it ,well worth the time,very clever book but a very good author
Once I started this book I could not stop! Unexpected twists made for an amazing ride. I highly recommend this awesome read!
When I received the book I read the back cover. The last sentence intrigued me."But what if the truth isn't quite as it seems? About half way I decided I knew what the ending was. Boy was I wrong. The great thing about reading this was that there were not 10 different characters which kep you focused one the plot. Or at least you think you are. This is a new author with great potential. I look forward to many more books from Ms.Hashbarger. Perhaps a sequel to this one soon!.

This book keeps your attention and is easy to follow in that it doesn't have a lot of characters you have to remember. The descriptive details help place the characters in the settings with ease. When you think you know where it's going, a suprise is thrown in...especially the ending, wow! I had to force myself to put it down to go to bed. And first thing I did when I got home from work was to grab it and emerse myself back into the story. I even had dreams about it, lol
Would definitely recommend this book, and am anticipating more publications from this author...maybe a sequel?
